The Summer Sun is Intense

You bet it is…especially around the Houston area!  When things heat up you think of protection of your property with the proper patio covers.  You don’t want to live in a fortress, you just want relief from the sun’s intense rays.  And, as we also found out last year the right patio cover will shield you from the rain as well.

One of the first steps is to select the right materials for the job.  Corrugated metal roofing, for example, is resistant to high winds, is light weight, and is structurally sound.  Keep an open mind and be flexible.  Do some research to discover what is right for your home in Katy or anywhere else in the Houston area.

We invite you to browse our photo gallery at lairdlandscaping.com.  Here you will discover some ideas from one of the Houston area’s top patio cover experts.  We want to help you enjoy this summer and many, many to come.  Just give us a call and we will come to your home.  That phone number is (281) 578-2795.

Laird did an excellent job landscaping the flower bed behind my pool. As usual, Trey had his experienced crew do everything very professionally.

Mark Corley and his team at Larid did a fantastic job on our backyard project. We had a large space to work with, and Mark and team designed a beautiful patio with stamped concrete, artificial turf, and a set of new trees and star jasmine on the fence. His quote was reasonable, it laid out each scope of work as its own line item, and was transparent. There were no "surprises" along the way that caused additional billings, which I appreciated. Mark came to the house almost daily when the crews were here, to oversee everything. They finished on time and cleaned everything up nicely. I would highly recommend Laird!
