Replacing Concrete Expansion Joints

Trim-a-Slab is a material placed in the cracks between concrete slabs to protect the slabs from cracking when they contract and expand as the temperature changes. And you know what that means in the Houston area. To use an example, this material acts as a shock absorber, absorbing the stress from the slab’s movement.
The first thing and potentially the most difficult is the preparation of the joints. Unlike the gooey stuff that constitutes other expansion joint products, Trim-A-Slab requires only a 1.5 inch minimum depth; the joint needs no further work. We will just clear at least 1.5 inches, and we are done
It’s all about doing it right and guaranteed the first time. That is where Laird Landscaping located in Katy and serving all of the greater Houston area comes in. When it is time to replace concrete expansion joints on your property call the experts at Laird Landscaping…voted Katy’s best at (281) 578-2795.
