Concrete joints are a relatively minor part of most projects, but can easily lead to poor planning and design if installed incorrectly.

To avoid unwanted cracks, we utilize a couple of concepts: control joints and expansion joints.  Control joints are installed in concrete to control cracks where they are desired.  They only crack at pre-planned locations.  Expansion joints expand and contract independently of one another without cracking.
