Fountains have had a prominent role in landscape design for many years in the Houston area private homes.  Compared to other landscaping water features such as waterfalls and ponds, garden fountains may be easily constructed and offer a comparatively simple way to introduce the pleasing sensory effects of moving water to your outdoor environment.

Water features can be used to create both drama and tranquility in the garden.  For example, moving water such as waterfalls and fountains energizes the outdoor environment with sound and movement.  While still water, such as an aquatic garden or Koi pond, brings the feeling of quiet and calm to the surroundings.
