Cover Up…But Not Too Much

When you sit out in your backyard you want to enjoy the wide-open spaces, but a patio cover really enhances the experience.  Patios as well as decks create marvelous great outdoor spaces, allowing you to enjoy the natural landscape of your home, while also maintaining a sense of enclosure or closed space.

Here are some different types of patio covers to consider –

  1. Wooden…simple and elegant
  2. Aluminum…the most common for durability
  3. Acrylic…holds up in harsh weather
  4. Latticed…appealing as well as elegant

Laird did an excellent job landscaping the flower bed behind my pool. As usual, Trey had his experienced crew do everything very professionally.

Mark Corley and his team at Larid did a fantastic job on our backyard project. We had a large space to work with, and Mark and team designed a beautiful patio with stamped concrete, artificial turf, and a set of new trees and star jasmine on the fence. His quote was reasonable, it laid out each scope of work as its own line item, and was transparent. There were no "surprises" along the way that caused additional billings, which I appreciated. Mark came to the house almost daily when the crews were here, to oversee everything. They finished on time and cleaned everything up nicely. I would highly recommend Laird!
